The pandemic was tough.

To ideate and create a kinetic motion project based on either a public service announcement (PSA), music lyrics or any other suitable audio.
I started the process by deciding which audio to use. Since the motion graphic project was done in 2021 (i.e. in the midst of the pandemic) I decided to use an audio that would portray hope. This kinetic motion project is based on a video by UNICEF wherein BTS delivers a heartfelt message of hope and solidarity to the world that is trying to cope with the pandemic.
To begin with, I collected all of my assets for a mood board. I found myself gravitating towards images and videos with a grungy and vintage feel which gave me ideas for my own concept.

After finding the requisite assets for the project, I started animating the scenes in Aftereffects using the storyboards that I made. To keep the animation interesting, I tried to balance texts with illustrations. I used neon colours (pink, yellow, green & blue) for the illustrations to make them pop on the black background.
