Revamping the 'Events' page layout for Newcomp Analytics, to not only achieve a better visual appeal and functionality but also to create an engaging user experience that draws visitors to register for events
This was my first webpage design project and my first professional challenge. The website was already live so incorporating existing styles, spacing, and assets into my designs, ensuring seamless integration with the rest of the website's pages made this project a bit complex.
To enhance event registration rates for Newcomp Analytics by optimizing content accessibility and improving content layout, making the event information more digestable and the event registration less tedious
The client, Newcomp Analytics, expressed concerns about their events page, which was failing to attract enough registrations. When I examined the page, it became clear that the layout was making it difficult for visitors to grasp crucial information. To address this, I reorganized the content, placing a stronger emphasis on key details through text hierarchy and visual cues. Proper spacing between sections was also essential to make the page feel less cluttered and more inviting. Highlighting the presenters was crucial because it's a compelling factor that encourages people to sign up for events. All of these ideas, when combined, helped in making the page more engaging, user-friendly, and ultimately effective in driving event registrations.
